Charles Snyder, PMP

Charles has been a participant, member, and some time officer of the Kentuckiana PMI since 1999. He joined PMI in the late 1990s and immediately started studying for the Project Management Professional (PMP). Later Charles had the great opportunity to join Humana on the ground floor of their new IT Project Management Office. There he managed a variety of IT projects related to health and dental insurance. Later he transitioned to work within the Internal Audit department at Humana, where he was able to build his technical and business skills to a point where the best growth opportunity was to move into the world of public accounting and management consulting. Charles is now employed at Computer Aid Inc. as a Senior Manager Cybersecurity.

Tamara Guibert

Throughout her career, Tamara has led a range of professional development activities from individual technical sessions to a full PMP prep series. She have also led a committee that hosted a series of activities to increase employee engagement. This included developing company-wide communications and follow up surveys to determine what employees enjoyed the most.

Tamara is committed to working with chapter members to identify the most important topics and areas of interest to develop a program plan that brings energy and excitement to the chpater.

Nadareca Thibeaux, PMP

Nadareca Thibeaux has over twenty years of project management experience implementing large, system wide projects and strategic initiatives for Norton Healthcare, Inc. She has been with Norton Healthcare, Inc. for over twenty years and held several leadership roles in several departments including Patient Access, Program Management Office, Information Systems, Design and Construction, and most currently, in Clinical Effectiveness & Quality Management. Nadareca has a Bachelors in Business Management and a Masters in Business Administration and Healthcare Administration. She is a member of the Project Management Institute, and the Kentuckiana PMI chapter. She is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional (PMP®).

Steve Bernheisel

Steve Bernheisel is the Manager of Financial Systems at Ventas, a multinational commercial real estate investment trust headquartered in Chicago. In his professional role, Steve administers Ventas’s finance and accounting systems, and manages related accounting projects. He has been a member of both the PMI and KIPMI since 2013, and obtained his PMP in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

Matt Bischoff

Matt's journey in Project Management started during a Bellarmine MBA program class and he earned his PMP in September 2020. Currently, Matt acts as a Digital Transformation Analyst for Schneider Electric Energy & Sustainability Services where his focus is on technology projects for their global operations teams. These projects are focused on transforming current processes into digital platforms to provide team members more information on their overall workload and task completion allowing management more insights into daily operations.

Heather Doucette, MFA

Heather Doucette is Project Manager at Silva Brand and a freelance Graphic Designer. A native of California, and U.S. Coast Guard veteran, Heather has worked with many leading creative agencies such a Dazz Media, Implementation Management Partners, and Creadio. In 2018, she graduated with an MFA in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. Heather loves to share her design knowledge and exploring new ways of visually communicating ideas.

Ray Hupfer

Ray currently serves as the Director of Digital Services for the YMCA of Greater Louisville, where he helps bridge the gaps between IT, Marketing, and Operations. He has a wide variety of responsibilities in his role ranging from website content management and marketing email platform administration to digital process improvement, software implementation, and basic IT support. Prior to becoming the Director of Digital Services, he served as the Director of eCommunications and Social Media, also for the Y.

Steve Bernheisel

President Steve Bernheisel Steve Bernheisel is the Manager of Financial Systems at Ventas, a multinational commercial real estate investment trust headquartered in Chicago. In this role, Steve is responsible for Ventas’s accounting and finance systems, and manages projects related to them. He has over 10 years of project management experience in both the corporate sector as well as in higher education, where he managed systems and system-related projects in university development and alumni affairs.

Steve joined the KIPMI Board of Directors as the VP of Finance for 2022, and in 2021 was elected to a second term on the Board as the VP of Membership for 2023. He has been a member of both the PMI and KIPMI since 2013 and obtained his PMP in 2018, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.

Heidi Boarman

As project manager for the past 20 years, Heidi values the certifications offered by PMI, and where these certifications can take us professionally. Many who are new to the role of project or program management do not have formal training for their position, and the tools offered by PMI will drastically improve these professionals’ opportunities for success in these roles. In a previous role managing a healthcare PMO, she felt the team would greatly benefit from a formal certification, just like we expect from our providers, nurses, lab techs, etc. She went through the certification process together and shared studies and tools were helpful to the entire team to achieve our goal of a fully certified PMO. The ongoing education offered by PMI is essential to all of us to maintain these valuable certifications.

Brian Rommes

Brian Rommes is a talented leader and developer of people, processes, and technology solutions. He believes "Collaboration and Communication move things forward”, and that continued personal development helps us to invest more into those around us. Learning about transformational leadership and insights from Strengths Finder were two tools that have helped spur that philosophy and inspiration. His professional experience spans over 11 years of project management, process improvement, IT Business analysis, and strategic technology implementation.

He received his undergrad from Murray State University, and has a Master's of Business Administration from Bellarmine University, and a Master's of Leadership and Management from Purdue University Global.

He is an adjunct professor at Indiana University Southeast in their Business department and teaches Executive Education Project Management courses at University of Louisville. Mr. Rommes has previously taught in the international department at Murray State University, and overseas at their partner universities in South Korea and Thailand.

Mr. Rommes is the Director of Rural 1st Lending Support at Farm Credit Mid-America on the Operational Process Excellence team driving technology projects and initiatives. His previous business experience includes Papa John's International where he lead projects supporting stores in 50 countries by working with vendors across the globe, and implementing restaurant digital solutions. He also has experience in the healthcare industry from his time at Humana where he worked on the clinical analytics, provider contracting, and pharmacy release management teams.

Matt Bischoff

Matt has been involved with the KIPMI board since the Fall of 2021 when he was first elected to be VP of Finance - Elect after being a member since 2019. Currently, he works for Schneider Electric Sustainability Business as a Project Leader where he works on technology projects revolving around data acquisition and quality. Matt recently completed the Ignite Louisville program through the Leadership Louisville Center and continues to work with other non-profits in the region.

Izzy Nalley

Izzy Nalley, Social Media & Digital Marketing Strategist has served as a communications advisor and change manager for multiple projects including large corporations, the government as well as helping small businesses improve their social media strategy and strategic marketing.

Vince Cain

As VP of Client Success for 20/twenty, Vince is charged with supporting all nonprofit clients and consultants to ensure the overall long-term success and growth of every engagement. With over a decade of experience as a Project Manager, Vince specializes in empowering teams, overcoming roadblocks, and designing creative solutions.

Vince's professional career has included leadership positions with nonprofits, startups, and large corporations, where he's developed a growth mindset and the ability to adapt quickly, lead diverse teams and overcome complex challenges. He currently serves as the Board Chair for Best Buddies of Kentucky, supporting the IDD community.
